How many times do the voices in our heads tell us that others are judging us?

In this piece, a mother clutches her child, worrying about whether she’s dressed right, whether they're judging her as a mother, and if she's enough. A nearby figure wonders if they’ve overdressed. A small character masks their insecurity with pride and anger. An elephant, usually a symbol of loyalty, peers out with suspicion. A girl rolls her eyes at it all, but if you look closely, you’ll see her worry too. Their is a subtle rift in the canvas, representing a distance we keep from others. The fish swimming in the pond represent balance that people might find if they were to gather near.

We Must Have Trust Without Judgement captures that invisible thread of overthinking that runs through us all. What if, just for a moment, we could all meet at the center and realize we’re not so different after all?
